Components of Elk Velvet Antler

Research done at the University of Alberta has verified many of the major components in EVA.  We encourage you to do your own research as by doing so you will find that all of the components work synergistically. We know that many illnesses are due to nutritional deficiencies.

Amino Acids:  Amino acids are the building blocks of protein.EVA has all 24 Amino acids, essential and nonessentialamino acids

Calcium: Calcium plays a major role in developing and maintaining bones and teeth.  It also assists in blood clotting, oxygen transportation, muscle contraction and nerve transmission

Chondroitin Sulfate:  Chondroitin Sulfate has shown to reduce cholesterol, and is beneficial in the treatment of osteoarthritis and bone fractures

Collagen:  Collagen is a major structural protein of the body and is found in our bones, tendons, ligaments and cartilage.

Copper:  Copper is found in all body tissues and is needed for the development of our red blood cells, bones and nerves.

Glucosamine Sulfate: Glucosamine Sulfate is an amino sugar that occurs naturally in the body.  It is known to ease pain, inflammation and to help rebuild damaged cartilage.

Glycosaminoglycans: GAG's are combinations of proteins and sugars that aid in the growth and proper functioning of the body.

Iron: Iron plays a critical part in the transporting of oxygen in red blood cells.

Keratan Sulfate:  Keratan Sulfate functions with collagen to restore cartilage.

Lipids: Lipids are all essential fatty acids including omega 3 and omega 6. They are needed to build cell parts and supply energy for cellular activity.

Magnesium: Magnesium works with calcium and phosphorous to build bones, and aids in metabolic reactions which helps with the heart, brain and other vital organs.

Phosphorus: Phosphorus provides structure to bones and teeth, as well it is needed for nerve and muscle functions.

Potassium: Potassium regulates the acid-alkaline balance in the body, stimulates the nerves, muscles, kidney functions, and helps supply oxygen to the brain.

Protein: Protein serves as the structural material in cells and aids in the growth and repair of tissues.

Selenium: Selenium is a powerful antioxidant and promotes normal growth and fertility.

Sulfur: Sulfur is a component of various amino acids.  It's key activity is to disinfect blood and fights bacteria

Zinc: Zinc is essential for healthy skin, helps heal wounds and burns, and supports the immune system.
